What is Home Care
Home care support comes in many forms whether it be simply aiding you with your medication, helping with washing, cleaning your home or a variety of things you may not be able to manage yourself on a temporary or permanent basis.Who can have home care
Anyone of any age may have help in the home using our homes care support services, this may be because you have had an illness, been in hospital, you have lost the ability to do chores or personal care for yourself or simply need help with your shoppingHow long will a visit last
Our service is flexible, our visits start from 30 minutes and we are able to offer a full sit in 24-hour service (see our respite services page). Our care manager or a care coordinator will visit you to discuss your personal needs and tailor a package that you are happy with, you will have full input into exactly what service we will provide for youFunding
As each package is tailored to your personal needs you will need to speak to our care manager or care co-ordinator worker to discuss financing your care. There is funding available in many cases from the local authority but we will be able to assist you with this and how to access the fundsList of our home care support services:
- Personal care including washing, showering and bathing
- Administering creams
- Assisting with medication
- House cleaning & decluttering
- Food preparation and assisting eating
- Shopping
- Laundry & Ironing
- Help getting dressed for bed and dressing in a morning
- Collecting of prescriptions
- Accompanying to hospital & doctors appointment
- Assisting with mobility
